7 tips for happy and healthy hair

It is said that love for our hair is more than the love we have for anything else. All our life we care for our hair, as we all love to have long, and strong, hair.

Tips for perfect hair care

It is right to say that “hair care” will differ according to one’s hair type, but there are some general hair care tips that work universally on every type of hair. There are some routine measures such as a daily wash, a few glasses of water, and a radiant smile to help your hair grow, and shine. The following are the 7 best and simple tips for happy, and healthy, hair:

1. Shampoo your hair everyday:

You must shampoo your hair everyday with the type that you normally use. And please, don’t switch your shampoos from time to time. This will do more harm than good to your hair.

2. Use Conditioners wisely:

It is very evident that we must use conditioners after applying shampoo to our hair. But, we must make sure to use only a small amount of conditioner, and that too only on hair shaft, not scalp.

3. Spa Treatment better than Oil Massage:

There is a myth that applying oil on hair helps it grow better. That is not true at all. Spa treatment are much better than oil massage for your hair growth.

4. Select your comb wisely:

Use brushes and combs with wide spikes to avoid hair breakage. A lot of people use combs with small spikes that causes breakage of hair.

5. Don’t be too stylish:

You must not use too much of stylish aids such as gel, hair wax, mousse or hair spray. Don’t use more than once a day.

6. Healthy Diet:

Hair growth comes from healthy diet, and positive thinking. Your diet must have proper nutrition level in order to ensure proper hair growth. Plus, you must drink a lot of water.

7. Beware of Hot Water:

No, I am not asking you not to drink hot water. But yes, you must not wash your hair with hot water to ensure hair damage.

All the above points are very key to ensure hair care in this changing climate. Please feel free to add your own tips to this list.

  1. Lloyd Sinkfield says:

Care of the hair and care of the scalp skin may appear separate, but are actually intertwined because hair grows from beneath the skin. The living parts of hair (hair follicle, hair root, root sheath, and sebaceous gland) are beneath the skin, while the actual hair shaft which emerges (the cuticle which covers the cortex and medulla) has no living processes. Damage or changes made to the visible hair shaft cannot be repaired by a biological process, though much can be done to manage hair and ensure that the cuticle remains intact.`.
